This classroom is designed to provide a wealth of social activities and experiences. In this age group, children learn to express their thoughts and feelings, begin problem solving, and enjoy a myriad of experiences. Some of the activities involve playdough, clay, marbles, and blocks. Crafts allow each child to be creative and expressive through paint, glue, glitter, and three-dimensional objects. This class loves to tell silly jokes, listen to stories and play games. Children in this age are developing from toddlers to preschoolers – they love to act out complex story lines but often need to have their favorite teddy or blanket “along for the ride.” We strive to provide a loving and nurturing environment and help each child become more confident and adept at using his or her social skills. (Juniors & ANS schedule times are approximate and flexible to meet children’s needs.)
